Mr K V Rao commenced his career with Uniform Agrotech Limited (Later acquired by Advanta) and worked for 12 years as a Production Manager. His postings to various places in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka during this job, added in enhancing his understanding on various circumstances of the hybrid seed production. He strengthened the position of Advanta for export quality hybrid vegetable seeds which was well appreciated.
His distinctive career experience set him in motion to start his own venture of Seed Production in the year 2003. The Seed Production Plots and R&D Units are in Karnataka and Maharashtra States.
Mr Rao holds Bachelor’s Degree of Science with specialization in Horticulture, from Sri Venkateshwara University, Andhra Pradesh. His college days were filled with the enthuse of being leader of NCC team for three years. He participated in several National Level NCC Camps.
In the past Mr Ramesh worked as a Software Engineering Manager, with his Masters in Computer Application, always had a passion towards agriculture. He has founded Melyna Seeds along with his brother Mr. KV Rao (Chairman) was a perfect opening for Mr. Ramesh to extend his hand towards supporting the farmers and hence strengthening the agricultural community.
He worked for many world class institutes and MNCs in the R & D Division. He is the ideal entrepreneur with 21 years of professional experience in India and abroad. He was part of quite a few prestigious companies like Indian Institute of Science (Tata Institute), Novell Software India Pvt. Ltd., VMWare Software India Pvt. Ltd., CISCO Systems India Pvt.
