Mr K. Venkateswara Rao, familiar as K V Rao is a pioneer in Hybrid Vegetable Seed Production with 31 years of experience in research, breeding especially in Chilli & Tomato Seeds.

He Produced more than 130 tons of hybrid Chilli seeds and 30 tons of hybrid tomato seeds. He is one of the leaders of the Hybrid Chilli Seeds bulk supplier for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana. He is a resourceful entrepreneur with almost 20 to 25 percent of the gross hybrid Chilli seed market contribution and with his customer’s presence in other states as well.

Mr. K V Rao is aware of the need to constantly promote the quality of seeds and support his customers and farmers; hence he is keen on performing GOT (Grow Out Test) from day one.

His inbuilt nature of hard work, dedication, honesty, candid behavior, values and principles helped him in achieving 100% Seed Success Rate which hit the markets, eventually pleasing his customers beyond expectations.

Mr K V Rao commenced his career with Uniform Agrotech Limited (Later acquired by Advanta) and worked for 12 years as a Production Manager. His postings to various places in Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka during this job, added in enhancing his understanding on various circumstances of the hybrid seed production. He strengthened the position of Advanta for export quality hybrid vegetable seeds which was well appreciated.

His distinctive career experience set him in motion to start his own venture of Seed Production in the year 2003. The Seed Production Plots and R&D Units are in Karnataka and Maharashtra States.

Mr Rao holds Bachelor’s Degree of Science with specialization in Horticulture, from Sri Venkateshwara University, Andhra Pradesh. His college days were filled with the enthuse of being leader of NCC team for three years. He participated in several National Level NCC Camps.

Mr. K. Ramesh, founder of Melyna Seeds, has been managing Sales and Marketing teams across India since 2017, contributing to all verticals and decision-making within the company in a short span of time. He also serves as a strategist and is recognized as one of the successful leaders in the seed industry. In the past, Mr. Ramesh worked as a Software Engineering Manager with a Master’s degree in Computer Applications, he has always had a strong passion for agriculture. The founding of Melyna Seeds, along with his brother Mr. K.V. Rao (Chairman), gave him the perfect opportunity to extend his support to farmers and strengthen the agricultural community.

He has worked for several world-class institutes and multinational corporations in the R&D division. With 21 years of professional experience in India and abroad, Mr. Ramesh is an ideal entrepreneur. He has been worked with several prestigious organizations, such as the Indian Institute of Science (Tata Institute), Novell Software India Pvt. Ltd., VMWare Software India Pvt. Ltd., and Cisco Systems India Pvt. Ltd., Bengaluru.

He excels in managing large teams, creating processes, and collaborating closely with employees.
